Questions on replacing lowside a/c hose assembly 603
The local squirrels did a chew job on my low side a/c hose assembly last winter.seems they liked the extra warmth provided by the block heater. the old one seem to come out fairly easily but im having no luck getting the new one in.anyone been down this road before?is there a trick to it?

what kind of trouble are you having? too stiff? threads not lining up? too long? give a descritpion.
"I hate Squirrels..." Disney's UP!" My pellet rifle scope is dead accurate and I've target a few of the little buggers! |

Does it go to a compressor manifold and have a little screen/tank-muffler in the low line? Very hard to align the bracket on the little tank while getting the hose openings in place.
I undid the compressor mounting bolts so I could manouvre it back and attach the lines. Then it was a pain to line up the pump, but it was easier than fighting the hose. I didn't attach the other end of the hoses until I had the compressor in place again. |
