Hey all, I'm almost done with my trans job and I rand into something. While attaching the trans to engine bolts I noticed something hanging out from the engine side, my starter! I didn't even know some of those trans to engine bolts held it on but now its off.

Do I just shove it back on and bolt it or do I have to mesh the teeth or something else?

I did a search but the DIY is three pages of how to take the bolts out, and I'm past that.
