Air Pump failed for seat massage

Have a 2004 E-class 270 CDI estate and the air pump for the seat massage has failed - where is this located? Is there any easy reference guide to get the part numbers to find a replacement

Not really diesel related. Have you looked under the seat? Are these the dynamic drive seats?

On a side note, my seat massager air pump is located in my lower intestine. Proper use includes rolling the windows down.

And a healthy dose of baked beans...

I let the wife handle the massaging.

Air pump for seat massage is kaput? Boo Hoo! This could be the beginnings of a long list of electrical device failures. Enjoy the features while they last, you'll probably find they're too expensive to repair when the go. 2004 is getting pretty old, maybe time to step up? That's what MB would like you to do nowadays.

Are you sure the pump has failed? According to this link, they say the system shuts down if a leak is detected.
