Replaced 9&11 fuses, now a/c blows warm
 

I was changing out my front turn signals and I blew out my #9 and #11 fuses. So I replaced the fuses and everything was working fine. Until I noticed that my complete gauge cluster didn’t have any power. Non of the gauges are reading anything. And also my A/C is blowing warm.

I checked all the fuses under the hood and didn’t notice any of them blown like the others before. I’ve attempted to search the forum but with no luck. Should I be looking into something else, any help would be wonderful, it’s getting very hot here in Texas.

Sounds to me like you might have disconnected a ground connection somewhere if the fuses are all okay. I'd check if these components have a common ground. It could also be that you have some corrosion in the fuse box. Happened to me, which a small square of fine grain sandpaper fixed really good, along with new fuses which looked okay but kind of corroded. I'd also check the wires coming out of the fuse box making sure that they're not either corroded or disconnected.

Replace fuse #6 to get the gauges back.

See if the compressor engages as well when you do it. I've got some conflicting info as to where the compressor clutch gets voltage. It could be from "c" but, I'm doubting that info.

I ended up getting some sand paper and working on all my fuse holders last night. And just went out and purchased new fuses for all of them. Everything is working fine. It was strange because the fuses LOOKED good.

Yeah........they always look good..........but rarely work properly once they get old.
