Quick Vacuum Question -- Is this the correct part?
 

Yesterday I noticed that a vacuum orifice was broken. I've circled the broken piece in this photo

I'm pretty sure this is the correct part but at $25 I want to be certain. It looks slightly different than the one I currently have. Allpartsexpress part# MBZ005322

Also, is it safe to drive with this vacuum leak?

the damper or the inline thing there cant be bought separately, You can rig it if you have most of the little nipple that broke off, however the long term fix is to replace the whole line, It takes less then 15 minutes if you have the right tools

Considering this is a Brake Servo Vacuum Line, it's probably best that I wait for the part before I start driving again, correct?

It looks like the nipple that broke is for the door locks, climate control and shut down solenoid. If you plug the hole, your brake boost won't be affected. But you will need to use the manual shut-down option.

This is an old photo. The nipple that broke is the one closest to the front of the car.

Then that would affect transmission. If you need to drive, connect the front line to the rear nipple (or maybe use the door lock vacuum supply) and see if your transmission will cooperate.
