om352 injector question

are all injectors the same? I have a known good set in a blown block and a new block in my mog that doesnt run right and sounds like nailing and only on 5 when it first fires up. I want to take the good injectors out of the bad block and put them in my engine.

there is about a 10 year difference, originals were 1970 and this engine is form an 80 truck

Also, do I need new washers? canI reuse the old ones?

You'll need new heat shields if thats the washers your talking about, any time you take out the injectors you need to replace the shields.

heat shields are the washers that go under the injectors, between the Injector and pre-chamber/Cylinder

A 352 is a direct-injection medium-truck engine--5.7 liter 6 cylinder.

If both engines are non-turbo, they might be the same injectors. Did you call eurotruck and check http://www.eurotruck-importers.com/

Most Direct Injection Injectors I have seen us a Copper (or Aluminum?)Crush Washer that seals on the Injector Nut that needs to be changed.

Bosch North America has a web site and while it takes some time to find it the have an application look up.

On the Mercedes Cars it will tell you the Injector Nozzle Part Number and the Rebuilt Injector Number. Don't know if they have info on MOG vehicles there?

If they do you could look up both vehicles and compare the rebuilt Injector part numbers to see if they are the same.
