I have been reading this web site for some time and have found much good info. I have a 83 SD. I have done much needed work on it when I bought it it had 106k two years ago, it has now at 157k .Each day I run 30 each way to and from work.I also have taken this car on several long trips(800+) no problems . One day I left work to go home and stopped in the town in which I work .Very hard brakes and the car would not shut off. So I ordered a vacuum pump repair kit.I had a H*## of a time getting out the two bottom cap head screws. In the end I only got them out only with a tool I ordered form SNAP On . I found mine to have a crack near where the piston is and the main check valve to to bad. So I ordered a new, one not cheap, and put the kit in mine till the new one came . This is what I got.This is not the fault of FAST LANE . They sent another ASP but ITS no better. I will be sending these to pic to the MFG . :(
