is the engine for the 87 190d 2.5td the same as
the engine for the 1990-93 300D 2.5 Turbo?
I am pricing some parts and some do not list the 190d 2.5td but list engine parts for the 300d 2.5turbo. I want to confirm that they both have the same engine.

Have you thought of double checking part numbers of parts that are listed by the retailers listed on the top of this page, like Fastlane. If most parts are the same, that would be good. If all part numbers listed were different, that would be no good. EPC also would or should quite easily show how alike or unlike the engines are. EPC can be difficult to work with, but it is all there.
