How about this? It looks simple, but it's designed for engine oil, does that matter?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRM-1761/ Can I get any spin on filter for this that has 3/4" x 16 thread? Will this be ok with WVO?

Concerning a 5 micron Fuel Filter. Below is a thread where one of our members Deliveryvalve had stock filter Housing mod he wanted done. The mod was all his idea but I did the threading. It uses a Baldwin BF7591-D; the D means it has a drain screw at the bottom to drain off accumulated water. This filter is threaded for M16x1.5 threads and that is the same threads used on the older VW Rabbit and Volvo Diesel Fuel Filter Housings. So while I gave the below thread for reference purposes you could just get a older VW Rabbit Filter Housing and use that. Post #12 has the micron spec sheet on the BF7591-D http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=225004
