Brake Pad Edge Codes

'Just discovered this.
A friend just bought some pads from O'reilly's and they were GF Ceramic Bosch
$38.00 (Under some other Nom De Plume).
So the [No Name] pads were higher fade resistant than Akebonos! (?)

Who knew the government had your safety in mind about brake pads?
