1982 Wagon Back Hatch Won't Open / Locked or Unlocked
I just bought a 1982 300 TDT wagon and all of the locks worked and doors opened, but now the back hatch will not lock or unlock from the outside. I unlocked the hatch from the inside, and the hatch still will not open. Does anyone have any suggestions.

the rubber on my 85 wagon sticks often. and the door is HEAVY so if your shocks are shot, it'll combine to make it very difficult to open.
I'd have someone sitting in the back pushing on the door, and have someone on the outside pushing the open button. (don't kick the outside guy in the face!)

I performed a bone-headed move a few weeks ago and backed the rear wheels of my wagon up on ramps, while the hatch was open, from the inside of the garage.
I didn't even think about the hatch not clearing the wood door frame. The edges to the side of the LP and the area above the light housing were damaged, not to mention it is now misaligned and closes HORRIBLY. I've tried re-adjusting the hinge bolts, with small degrees of improvement but no real solution. I think I may be looking for a replacement hatch door... So, if you get it open, check the two bolts that hold the hinge to the door. If it looks like they've shifted, try to loose and return to that previous position. That may solve your alignment / opening issues.
