Yeah i drove this car. It has rust on front fenders some rust on rear quarter panel and trunk and he says it has 66K miles verified by the paper work from the import agency. $11K is high for a car with rust no leather and no climate control. I would rather buy american model.

Actually "no climate control" is a plus. The climate control is the worst feature on Mercedes.
I don't want my cabin at a certain temp, I want cold air blowing over me at a fan speed of my choosing.
Mercedes and Cadillac have been screwing this up for years!!!

And wow, what a funky interior. What are euros thinking??

I actually really like the e300Ds. When I get older and w123s are hard to find I'll happily pick one up.

who said you cannot do that with digital climate??? Turn off "auto" feature and blast fan as much as you want and it will blow as cold as you want it.

That's what my mom always did in her Cadillacs. She still does the same thing today in her Lexus's.

I rarely use the automatic setting in my Camry. I do enjoy having it on long trips though.

But I'd still rather skip it on an older MB. That's part of the reason I bought a 240D.

In the W210, the pushbutton climate control module provides valuable diagnostic information through the LCD display. You can get the same information with SDS if you have the manual wheels, but SDS probably didn't come with your car.

And as said, you can completely control the automatic unit, if you're willing to press a few buttons. Full-on AC? Set both sides to LO. Control the fan? Just press the button. Outlet selection? Same thing -- just press the button.

I want to know how to make perfect patterns like that in the carpet!

On my MB's with auto climate control {W123 and W124} you get low, which is too low, or you get screamin' arse high. {via either top fan button for super duper high or middle auto button for duper high} I want some nice medium speeds. Is it so much to ask.....

Maybe it is time to get a newer car then like w210 or newer because w123 and w124 are old school. Even though I own W124 I could not imagine owning only that car you got to have something fast and newer (with modern climate control).

With that horrible interior, I can see why the vehicle would only have 66k on it. Probably just driven at night too.

I like the interior actually. I guess the Germans think that's cheerfull?

Then again I like oddly colored cars....

For another thread on this forum I created a variable speed fan control for the 124 that uses one or two components and would be easy to install without a degree in electronics. No one seemed interested so I never published it.

I absolutely hate the W210!!! Love the front end, hate the back end too much to fight through it.
I don't need check engine lights. I don't need something fast. I don't need W210 other problems.
I just want to be buffeted with a little cold air.....
