Old Garrett T3 worth selling?
 

I got my hands on a KKK turbo (thanks, panzer) and found that the Garrett off my 617 has some shaft play. I haven't measured it yet. Is it worth trying to sell as a rebuildable unit? I'm thinking I'd be lucky to get $25 for it. For that, I'd rather clean it in the parts washer, take the two halves apart and make bookends out of it.

Anybody think the old turbo is worth trying to sell?

If the impeller is in good shape, I might would be interested in buying it. My 300TD is going to need the turbo rebuilt, and rebuilding another one would be less downtime for me. Was it working fine beforehand?
