Took the kid up to Flagstaff from Verde Valley today to put him on a week long Colorado River trip in Grand Canyon. We took the euro. Went from elevation 3000' to Flagstaff's 7200 feet in 100 degree heat uphill all the way with the AC on full blast. It ran at about 90 degrees all the way uphill and had no problem holding 65 mph. I don't get to drive it much. Sure was fun.

I live 15 minutes from Sedona. I try to AVOID stopping there whenever I can. They ought to just put a big fence around the place and charge admission, with family ticket specials.

No, but I'll be doing the drive again soon and will take the camera. It was kind of a quick run, and I was busy telling my kid old river running war stories to get him properly psyched and properly respectful of the Colorado River so he comes back in one piece. I need him home safe to help milk all these goats.
