Dynamat hoodliner

On my 84 300D. Quality seems good. Comes with adhesive on it but I used 3M 90 . Sealed edges with "Suretape". Heatshield reflects light into engine compartment for better view.

How much weight did it add to the hood?

its pretty light. Maybe 5 pounds??

I did the same thing, but I need to finish the edges, as some have suggested.

Nice job. I noticed noise reduction and cleaner bay, mostly.

It's not too heavy , yet the foam seems strong. Be interesting to see how long it lasts.

I got mine at Summit racing.

Is it a universal fit? Did you have to cut it?

Universal fit. Yes. Fit is very close to correct as is but minor trimming is needed. Easy.
The wrinkles are because it comes rolled up tight...and that's OK.

What is the purpose of this? If it does reduce noise I am definitely up for trying this!
