bad turn signal, is it combination switch?
The turn signal on my 84 300SD is starting to not work all the time.
Also, for some time now, when I start the car the windsheild wipers will cycle through one wipe and stop. Fuses are good. So, do I have a bad combination switch? Jeff

What do you mean by not work all the time? Mine would only turn the indicator light and associated exterior ts bulbs on, but they did not flash. Also same with hazards, as they run through the same relay. A new relay fixed that, but you have other associated problems that will require a visual and more electrical testing.

The turn signal will come on normally, not come on at all
or blink slower than usual. Which relay controls those functions? I'll try replacing it first. Thanks, Jeff

Its the same relay that does the hazards, and it's under the wood console piece around the shifter. It's up front between that ashtray and the gear shifter.
