is 617 trans bolt pattern same as 602

does anyone know if the 617 transmission bolt pattern is the same as the 602 ? what about the output shaft? is it the same size ? is it longer or shorter? are the slines the same? reason im asking is im trying to figure out if i wanna do a gm trans swap!!!!! 4x4 labs is making a production run of adapter plates and flywheels to a gm trans? check out their web site. any info would be greatly appreciated

No, no, dunno, what splines?. To elaborate, the w124 output shaft is bigger, but it's pretty easy to slap on the smaller output shaft since those splines are the same. The 602 was also in w201s, but I'm not sure about the output shaft in those.
