Door lock troubleshooting (again)

Ok, I have a couple of days off starting on Thursday so I want to fix an issue with the 83 300D. The locks! Everything else vacuum operated works ok (Engine Shutoff, brakes, transmission ) So, where would be a good place to start and a logical progression?

I have read most of the troubleshooting posts and I have the vacuum diagrams and a decent hand held vacuum pump, I just need some input on where to start eliminating stuff.
