Wiring in window switch-let me re-ask

I must have asked this wrong, since I got no response to my other post. Does anyone have any idea where I can find where the 3 wires in a 1981 300D window switch go? OUt of the 5 possible places available, I can see the three previously used "holes" that they were in, but I don't know what wire went where. There are red, purple and green wires, and the holes that were previously used were #1, #2 and #3. Thanks for any info on this. Lee

Just in case anyone is interested, I figured out the wiring for the drivers window switch today. Didn't take much, the red (hot) wire is the #3 position. That hole is in contact with the strip that extends the length of the box that the wire connectors are mounted in. Purple and black wire is #1, and the green wire is # 2. Once I looked at it and realized the hot was on the main strip, I just plugged the other two wires in and tried them. Got them wrong at first, but that only caused the window to go up in the down and down in the up position. I blew the fuse before I even got that far, but it was only a 5 minute job once I started looking at it.
