Heater/ AC issue
Suddenly I am getting hot air out of the dash vents when the CCU is turned off. Anyone know what pod/vent flap might cause this? If I switch on the A/C I get cold air from the same vents but when I turn it off I start getting hot air after a minute or two.

I saw something that indicated this could be a monovalve issue. Does anyone have experience on this? Anyone know of test procedures on the monovalve?

Not sure how to to test it, but it only takes about 2 minutes to pull it out and visually inspect. I had the same problem when I bought my wife's car. The rubber diaphram was torn and letting hot water past, and it was like an oven door had opened. But that was all the time, meaning I wasn't getting any cool air. i bought an extra in case it ever happens again. I did see a way to test them, but it seems like you have to pull it to check it, anyway. At least yours works when it's on. Mine's not. And man is it hot and humid here!

Up date for those with this problem. I ordered a monovalve repair kit and installed, total time was less than 15 minutes. No more hot air when I don't want it and it works better than it did when I thought I didn't have a problem. I bought the part from Phil at Fastlane for about $59 including shipping.
