Metro D.C Anyone here ?
I know you are out there ( DEE*GO+++++) Anyway I know a lot of us like to do our own maintenance but there are times that you need a lift, Hyd Press etc to make a 2-3 hour job in your garage a 1 hour job. Anyway I am going to try them out. I do not want to mention the shop name but they seem extremely nice and the prices are good. I will be puting on the parts I bought from Phil at this place and wil report back to anyone interested. There business is slower during the week so maybe a group tech session ? anyway just a thought. They are located about 7 minutes from Dulles Airport and do offer secure overnight
storage if you hit a bump in your repair ( very reasonable) I am in no way affiliated with this place but I received a flyer in the mil and went to check it out. It is the real deal. Send me a PM or email me at agtt4444@aol.com Alan |
Crud!, I accidentally erased the first part of my thread anyway it is a shop that renst bays, lifts etc.

Please PM me with the info. I love supporting John Hef at EuroMotor, but I'd rather do it myself if I could get hold of a bay.
Where are you located? I grew up in Chantilly and now live up I-270. |
Yeah, send it to me too... I am out in Front Royal now, but would love a place where I can work on the beasts without getting gravel all over my back!

It's the one in Sterling right?
|
Yes it is listed as 21606 Cedar Lane Suite 100, Sterling VA 20166.There website is www.ditymechanics.com If you know the area at all it would be just North of Dulles Airport off of Rte 28. Coming from Front Royal you would probably come in 66 to 28 North it is less than 10 minutes north of 66. From Chantilly it would be the same thing. When you see the BMW Ferrari Dealer, CarMax etc you will be turning very shortly. Their website is pretty straight forward and the 2 times I have been there they are an extremely nice group of people. If anyone is going there I would recommend a week day but what ever works. Also if you are going over pop me an email I might be able to come by and meet some of the members here in person and possibly lend a hand.

Looks like a pretty cool place.

Yeah it is. I am trying to head over there today ( 10 minutes from home) to recharge/flush my A/C. Possibly do the tank strainer we talked about.
