Help me search- "replacment/upgrade AC" for 617A model 300xD
Im sure its been done and I'm sure there is an awesome thread in here.... Im just not finding it.
Can anyone direct me to any threads on replaceing the AC with something else. As in getting rid of vacuum activators for all the vent flaps, getting rid of Climate control problems etc. etc. Maybe uses some old style cable pulls etc. for the flaps to direct the air. Thusly bypassing the usual problems with MB AC systems? Im getting the bug to buy an Old MB to drive again but in TX heat I HAVE to have AC and know it is going to work.
