I have been ther Thurs, Fri & sat so far, can`t go today, but will hit it tomarrow. my yard looks like PNP now .

I went up to Sacramento to the Rancho Cordova yard to sign up for a Rewards card called"Toolkit Rewards" has a bar code on the back. they scan it, and you gain points as you buy stuff. also they said there are special sales to people with the card. when you pay the $2 to get in, it covers every other yard for that day. normally you have to pay $2 for each yard visited.
One good thing about the card, you get in a couple days before the sale starts. Beat the rush.

They have an 85 TD, eng. gone, but does have the 2mm larger front sway bar that will fit the 300D.

also a 76 300D with the intake manifold that sits up high for the turbo mods some are doing. this is a rare one.

Saw a set of Progressive springs, I think were under a W123 300D.

The San Jose yard south on Monterey rd. has a 79 300TD with some pretty good dark blue interior. carpet not all faded out. rear seat almost perfect. drivers back, and passenger back and seat cushion are in good shape. seat springs shot as well as the padding.

Hey Charlie which yard had the TD with the swaybar and the 300D with progressive springs? I'm thinking about hitting up the yards tomorrow for the last day of the sale. My rear end (of the car ) is sagging so I could use some better springs...

I didn`t read this before I left for Sacramento this morning at 5:15am.

The yard is the Rancho Cordova yard. I got up there at 8:30am. Pulled the 85TD sway Bar, both front door regulators & motors, one door check and every other do dad that looked like it needed a new home.

Pulled the Progressive springs off of a 81 300D Euro
Intake manifold off a 76 W114 300D, and a valve cover off a 300D w123.

Found 4 Centra hub caps. I`ll try these on the 240 and see how it looks.

While I was working on the 76 manifold, I see a guy poking around on the next row behind me. Hey Nik! guy looks. Sirnik, that you? there was Sirnick84 and Irock, that was cool seeing them. Nik gave me a hand with the manifold, then we looked around for a few temp sensors, paid for our parts and left. followed them to Niks house and got a first hand look at his engine rebuild project. It`s slowley coming along, but looks good.

Headed on over to IN and OUT BURGER for some chow, and some quality BS`n. after we said our good by`s, I got out of there about 8:30pm and rolled in the driveway at 12:35am. 1/2 way home I did have to pull over for some ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ`s

It was a bunch of driving, but was a fun day.
