85 300DT rough idle/vibration in Park & Reverse

Noticed vibration when in Park & Reverse, but drives smooth otherwise, all the mounts seem fine....transmission?

Seem and are, definitely have different definitions.
however, there are in addition to the mounts, shocks, with their mounts. also, the air cleaner has several mounts that are notorious for failure, also there is a drain tube below the air cleaner that will rattle a lot, and dump oil everywhere. also, the transmission has a mount, and it will allow the exhaust down pipe to hit the body...
let the hunt begin!

thanks for the info

the mount beneath the air filter housing is broken, I rigged it with an L-bracket for now, will check on the drain tube, the bushing within the driveshaft support seems a little hard & loose, could this cause the shaking in park & reverse?

Yup. Check those two areas as I have had the same exact symptoms on my 82' 300TD and they were the culprits!

it happened to our 300SD once...for us, it was a failed/broken "engine-shock" bottoming out on one side...check your engine shocks.
