Ive read all the threads about the saab alternators (two screw post designs). There are alternatives that do fit, but it appears that there is also such a thing as an MB-specific alternator that uses the three-spade connection design like on w123 alternators, that puts out 80A.

Ive tried to look at a lot of older cars on fastlane/all parts express. There is some indication that some of the later w107 alternators may have an 80A three-spade connector, but some of the images conflict.

Has anyone found an 80A three-spade MB specific alternator?
