Vacuum 300TD (video)

1)- Here is the vacuum press I get in the main line:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4E5U4Gg_Yk8

2)- Here is a pressure test for vac line to transmission modulator:

http://www.youtube.com/user/baft995874#p/a/u/2/NQO4nCvNgj0

3)- Here is vacuum pressure in the transmission line:

http://www.youtube.com/user/baft995874#p/a/u/0/9Yqih7yWG-Q

See how I have about 20Psi at idle in main line and only 15psi in trans vacuum line. Normal?

Also while engine is shut down the vacuum goes to zero pretty fast. Normal?

Thanks

PSI? I think you mean inches of Hg.

The vacuum to the trans line is controlled by the pedal position.

search for "critical" on here, and you will find more to read on transmission vacuum than you can believe!
you can also post up the list for most viewed, and it'll be near the top.

wow, actually at the top! nearly 97,000 views! all you do is go to the list of threads and click the word views above the list...
it'll load in order of most viewed.

Yes, that's normal, 20 inHg (I get 25, but may be at a lower elevation, if that matters) and 15 inHg coming out of the top of the VCV.
My 1984 CD.

Thanks ToomanyMBZ,

Knowing that this looks normal will help me continue troubleshooting.
