Leaking Oil Pressure Gauge Yet Again!
So this is probably the 2nd (maybe 3rd?) time I've dealt with this issue. I've replaced the cluster once and I think just the oil pressure/fuel/temp portion another time. I've ruined a pair of shoes with tell-tale oil stains on my left foot. Yep, it is definitely from the left side of the cluster rather than the ignition switch.
I've read on the forum about some folks just capping off the line. That would certainly solve the issue, but seems like bad practice not being able to monitor the pressure? Still who woulda' thought bringing a live OIL line into the passenger cabin was REALLY a good idea!? Thoughts? I'm willing to replace the $!?#! cluster again, but it's just getting kinda old. Thanks, Chuck
