'93 W124 300D Transmission Part Number

Does anybody know if all '90-'93 300D's use the same transmission or not.

I need to know the part number for a '93 300D transmission either way.

And....I'm in the market for a good used one or rebuilt one.

They don't, they removed the rear pump in 91 or so. I'd grab either one regardless.

According to the FMS I read they deleted the rear pump in 92.

That's the impression I got too bobo.

I have seen some for sale but they state that they fit 90-92 models.

So is 722.418 the one for '93?

From what I see on the web, 722.418 is the transmission for all US 300D 2.5s, 90-93.

Agree. It is the same transmission. Just minus the rear pump. So no push/pull starting the diesel. LOL

This table confirms your conclusions.

Would a transmission from a gasser of the same year range work?

How about the transmission from a '95 300D?

The model number is 722.435

I'm having a hard time finding the right one that's why I'm considering all my options if there are any others.
