Putting new delivery valve washers and crush washers on the 190D today, I noticed that number one was dirty inside the delivery valve holder. My question is, I have also have a injector pump from a 1985 190D. Can I just swap a delivery valve holder from the 1985 to the 1984? Is there any difference in the holders? The holder is the 4th picture.

Mid 85 was some kind of changeover for the 601-- you will see a lot of parts that are good up to #xxx or after xxx. I have two 85's and they have a lot of parts that are not the same. I run a parts number check on equivalent new parts to figure it out.

The junk in the 84 DV won't clean out?

Im working on it, but so far no. I have it soaking in brake cleaner. The p.o. left the hard line off line #1 and junk got in!
