Congrats on that milestone!

Next time reset your trip odometer in advance of it so you can get something like this one:

http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showpost.php?p=2157759&postcount=1

We did that one by accident but now am always thinking ahead.

Actually, I've never bothered to get one. Maybe when I get to a million miles?

Cool, but I didn't plan ahead that much. Maybe when I hit 666,666 in a couple of years.

Congrats for sure,
That '82 300D is a wonderful design, and you have taken such care to extend its life.
What a kick that we muse of the high mileage...
How many miles do you drive annually ?

Usually about 40-50K, I use it to travel all over the country. Next week I'm going to Philly.

You might not get good airflow to the radiator with all those badges on....

Nice shot, and congrats on keeping that baby on the road for so long.
I'm getting close to 300k.

Has anything major been done to the engine? How many miles were on it when you got it?

Don't be doing that stuff man. You're only encouraging those Ebay and Craigslist liars. Next thing you know you'll be telling us you get 35mpg on unfiltered WVO.
