W123 Blower Motor Brush kit - SQ Carbon

Thought I'd pass along...I tried a blower motor brush kit from SQ Tech (SQ Carbon) for my 300D. $30, but shipping was included. Had to spend a couple minutes filing them with the included emery boards, but otherwise they worked out really well. They are made to splice (solder) to the existing copper braids and the leads are not long enough to completely replace the existing braids, so be aware that you will end up with splices. I had repaired one of my brush braids a long time back this way, so I have had good success with a soldered splice in that application.

My Blower is made by Seimans. I appears to have Bronze Brushes instead of Carbon Brushes?

I believe the brushes are actually a mix of carbon and copper. i have used them on 3 cars i have own over the past couple years. two bosch motors and one siemens. you can find them cheaper on the main site sqcarbon.net.
saved me a bunch.
