Did the swap and now theres no power

So I put the engine from the 300SDL in the 350SDL body, it idles smoothly off the line it feels normal but now there is no power as if the turbo isn't kicking in. Any ideas?

Be sure that the pressure from the intake is making it to the ALDA.

Aren't the wastegates and/or overboost/enrichment "backwards" from each other on .96x vs .97x install? Check that it's working right. I "think" I "read" something like that on the internets, but I don't have time to research the CD right now.

And double-check ALDA/plumbing as mentioned.

So I looped the vacuum line from the intake to the alda and now its drivable, now my question is on the 87 there are two of those modules and I know one is the overboost protection, the 91 only has one which, should that setup affect anything in any way as I've run everything as per 350SDL

How long was the 3.0 engine sitting for?

Its been sitting for no more than 2 months, I've done a bit more work and it seems that the plug at the Engine overload protection switchover valve is getting a constant 12 volts, now I need to figure out why and I can't seem to find any decent wiring diagrams to test the circuit.

Is it getting +12vdc and ground, or is the ground switched.

With no voltage, the valve should be open from intake side (bottom) to alda side (middle). With 12v, it should be open from middle to vent/top.

No, the turbo wastegate on the '91 SDL (603.970) is the same pressure-actuated as the 603.96x donor.

The ground is switched, as far as I can tell the ground should not be switched but it is, its really annoying to find electrical issues without good diagrams

If the ground is a solid brown, it shouldn't be switched. If any other color or brown with a stripe, it's supposed to be switched which makes sense if it is powered (grounded) directly by the overboost pressure switch on the plenum (1-wire).

Thanks, I figured it out finally, It's all making sense now. Someone must have attempted to convert this car already because some of the plugs were missing.
