Thumbs down Broken wire to multi-function stalk switch

All,

I have pulled my multi-function stalk switch (turn signals, wipers, etc) off of the steering column and was inspecting it when I noticed a solid brown wire that had broken off of its end terminal. It appears to run toward the steering wheel and when I give it a small tug it feels as though it is spring-loaded. I would guess this is a horn wire. Correct me if I am wrong.

So where is this brown wire supposed to be connected so I can fix it?

The Wiring diagram would help

BUT,
Brown insulated Wiring on Mercedes Chassis is almost always "Ground".

There are two discreet wires that are attached to the switch itself, one black and one brown as I recall, there is a place on the switch body where a screw secures a ring or spade terminal usually at the end of the wire. Look closely at the switch body itself you should find the screw with the terminal attached still where the wire was broken off of.
