Rear hatch plug Disconnected
Hey, I am working on replacing my third brake light, and got it installed, (1987 Wagon) it was a pain in the butt to do..
My question is. There's a 3 Prong connector thats been Disconnected, It has a White cable going to where it connects to (pin side) the female end (prongs slide into) is a non descript Black square. any Ideas on what this is? edit--- It is UNDER the carpet panel on the door, Passenger side near the locking mechanism and right next to the wiper motor assembly

Well, it buzzed when I plugged it in and the door opens easier.. I dunno. I'll leave it plugged in and see what happens

Mystery solved. wires go to a lock assist motor apparently every time I open or close the door that little motor goes off. not sure why, but thats what it is
