Need a Tailgate Latch Assembly for 83 300TD Wagon - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Hello all. Havent posted here much, but do visit everyday. I came home from work yesterday to find a chrome handle on my desk. I turned it over and saw a small Mercedes star on it. I asked about it and was told that it was the inner handle from the tailgate. With 6 kids, you can bet we use this 3rd seat daily! I guess we overused it, but kids arent always gentle with things. Anyway, does anyone have a good used one that still has the small nub that the handle attaches? Thanks!!

I saw an early 80's 300TD at Lowes used auto parts in Moncure, NC near Pittsboro. Gerry there can check for you on the handle. Not sure if he will ship it, but it not too bad of a drive I guess?? 919-542-5993 Let him know that Michael sent you.

Damn! Sorry I thought you needed the handle not the assembly to which it attaches! I'll have to see what that actually is! Sorry!
