Transport from Houston to D.C. Metro Available

I hope it is OK to post this here. I am flying to Houston in mid November and driving a U-Haul back with some antique furniture for my Mother in law. I believe there will be extra room ( TB confirmed) and am offering to bring up items dirt cheap. I am just looking for a little gs money not to make a profit so depending on the size and hassle factor let me know via P.M or email agtt4444@aol.com
I have to see what size truck she has rented ( she sprung this on me an hour ago) and should be driving back the week of the 15th. I will be delivering the furniture to an area near the intersection of 495( capitol beltway) and 395 just south of Washington D.C. FYI I thought about buying a used rust free 4x4 pick up down there and either driving it back ILO a rental or hooking up a tow dolly
depending on what truck she rented. Anyway let me know, this is no scam been a member here for awhile just trying to offer back some help since so many here have helped me. Should I post this on the other discussion sections of the site ?
Alan

Alan --- I've got wheels, rear trailing arms, 2.88 rearends, fender(s), maybe a bumper or two, w126 front seats (black set; Palomino set) that folks in the DC area might want. I or the buyer could give you some gasoline money for hauling any of these items.

Alan --- you might want to post the "path" that you will be driving. I'm guessing you may be going thru Memphis. If so, please stop for some BBQ and a "Ben" visit.

Anyone interested in any items I have?

Excellent ! I will talk to my Mom -in -Law and find out what she rented. As for the route it will probably be through Memphis. I used to drive this trip a few times a year either from California to Texas and reverse or from Texas to D.C. and reverse ( that was when I was single and sometimes hauling other times in my beloved 82 911SC) I have many good friends on the route but am always anxious to meet more Benz enthusiasts. Are you in the D.C. area ? If you think they will sell up here let me know I have a large storage area ( no garage doors but double french doors at ground level) and could hold them for a little while for you. I will email you Tuesday and let you know, again if it helps you out that's cool !

If you want to meet some Benz enthusiasts in Houston, we can probably whip up an impromptu get together at a local park or something with some of the cars.
