glow plug quick disconnect

Anyone done something like this? I took apart a Mercedes connector and snaked 5 female contacts from it, soldered a 10 gauge pigtail onto it and formed a loop on the other end to be fastened to the glow plug harness with a screw and nut, then taped over with high temp silicone tape. This is what it looks like test fitted on a glow plug....nice and tight and should work well imo. I plan on doing a compression test every 15K as part of monitoring engine health while running WVO and want to make the job as painless as possible. No more dropping those 8 mm nuts into the void.

I reported earlier that I had low compression in #1 but that was due to a leak in the gauge. I've since fixed it and the compression in #1 is 325 psi and the other 4 cyls are also 300 to 325 psi. Engine is running very well at the moment with new Monark nozzles and I intend to keep it that way.
