How much would you pay for a Mercedes 300SD turbo diesel with 240,000 on it runs great with..

Good
-Power seats
-Power locks
-Moon roof
-ALDA delete
-Working A/C
-All lights working and completly road worthy

Bad
-Paint isn't in that great of condition and the worst is on the roof
-Driver seat needs new leather because it is torn up pretty bad

Never said I want to sell it :D I just wanna know how much money I can put into it before it becomes pointless. I am gonna have to sell it at some point whether it is before Christmas or toward the end of summer when I go to college. Its gonna happen whether I like it or not!

Don't put anything into it if you're going to sell it (or as little as possible). Otherwise, repair it to your standards & drive it. The decision is only an economical decision if you don't intend to drive it a long time.

The value is what you place on the car, then the value of what it is worth to someone else.

If this MB is just a stepping stone onto other vehicles, then just drive it.

Replacing a water pump, Glow Plugs, Injectors, valve adjustment or what ever, doesn`t cause the value to increase. these are just maintenance items that go along with car owner ship.

Going to college W/O the MB? :confused: Blasphemy :eek:. then what? the Honda? :dark:

Well there probably won`t be much time for a MB with the party time in college ;) :beerchug: :beer: :puke:
