bad noise?
 

Perhaps it's just me being paranoid, but I'm not sure if there's a sound with my engine that I should be worried about? Can you guys watch this video and let me know? The sound that jumped out at me kind of sounds like there's a marble rolling around inside the engine compartment. Is something loose and vibrating violently against something?

Check the air cleaner mounts. It sounds like 1 or 2 are broken - perhaps the bracket itself is cracked also. Nice looking car, from what you recorded, by the way. Does it idle rough on cold start? If so, check engine mounts, as well. This will eventually cause the air cleaner rubber mounts to break from excessive vibration.

Yes, that is it. The mounts are bad, so it will need new ones. We tried starting it and holding the air cleaner down and the noise goes away immediately.

Thanks a lot! It's a wonderful car that I imagine will last me a long time. It only has a few cosmetic issues, but they'll all be fixed in good time.
