Working on my rear suspension.

Would I be OK working on my rear suspension on my 82 300td wagon using my ramps or would I need to jack the rear using jacks. I have a set of ramps that I use onder my F350 so I assume they wont collapse. I want to replace my accumalators and leveling valve.

If you have the car on ramps, and you open the SLS system the rear is likely to drop due to the loss of pressure in the SLS system. So make sure if you use ramps you are prepared for the car to drop several inches. Otherwise I would use jackstands and support the car by the frame.
