123 Front Seat Belt Latches
 

I found some replacement front seat belt latches that fit a 126 on ebay. Does any one know if these would fit a 123 seat belt? My latches have the plastic covers broken off - which annoys me.

Most of the parts places like benzbin, and performance products don't have them. I hadn't tried the dealer...just figured that they would want megabucks for something that could be gotten for much less used. I'll give them a call and see what they want for them.

I have 87 420SEL seats in my 83 300SD but those seat belt latches are a smaller than 83's. I couldn't buckle up so i had to change them out.

I don't know about 123...what year are they?

My car is an 82 240D, 123. Since your 83 300SD is a 126?...the question would be, would the 126 and 123 latches and belts be the same. The pictures on ebay looked like the same part? I'm not familiar with the 420, is that a 124?

420sel is a 126 too! it's 4 years younger than my 300sd. I'm not sure about your case...sorry

Try the local salvage yards (both those that specialize in M-B/foreign and those that do not since some also get M-B cars). You also may find some other parts that are needed - perhaps something that is an accessory you did not know about.
