Can You Help Identify the Source of My Coolant Leak?
Found my slowly-leaking coolant (about 1/2" in expansion tank every 1,000 miles). It's pooling on some sort of lip directly beneath the engine side of the upper radiator hose (see pic). However, it doesn't seem to be leaking from the hose itself (although I'm not positive about that). The coolant seems to be somewhat broadly dispersed, extending even to directly beneath the fuel filter.
Any ideas? What are the possibilities? Thanks.

Add a second clamp to the hose or replace the existing clamp with a constant pressure clamp to confirm whether it is the hose or not.

I've had leaks on radiator hoses, replace with genuine Gates hoses and that will be one less thing you have to worry about.

I'm pretty sure it's the hose. I removed and reattached....now we'll see.
I should probably replace it though....even though it looks/feels good, it's been on there at 80,000 miles, six years....longer if it wasn't replaced when my radiator was.
