SLS control valve changed today

So I changed my SLS valve today on the wife's 1982 wagon. It was leaking and so overnight the car would sag. I raised one side and slid two concrete paving stones under the tire, then the other side. I then kept the jacks in and raised the car just a bit to take a bit of load- not off the slabs but to not allow the car to drop. Safety stands were then put under each side. I needed a 17,11 and 12mm wrenches, and a 10 mm socket with a extra long extension. First loosen the bottom hard line and let fluid drain into a pan. The remove the line and then remove the 17 mm so you can get to the top line and do the same thing. Then move onto the smaller hard lines and remove them, but allow them to drain first. Used the 10mm socket and dropped the valve after disconnecting the arm. Install was just the reverse. You have to be very careful to not allow dirt to enter any port, and be sure to not cross thread anything. I sucked out my front fluid tank as the fluid was not looking good. Install a new filter and fill to proper level, then check for leaks while the car was running. Did a short test drive and reviewed the fluid level and double checked for leaks. Now I wait until tomorrow to see if the car does not sag...

If it sags, Andrew has the rebuild kits with excellent instructions. I've gotten several from him.
Hmmmm, seems like I still have one or two, with no MB's to put them in.
If you need a kit PM me. I'll see if I can find it and send it your way......
Re-threading those 3 lines that plug into the valve assy is my new most hated MB repair EVER.

I also have a kit, and wanted to rebuild the valve at my leisure, which may or may not ever happen now, lol.
