300SDL windshield washer motors and headlight wipers don't work

This is a W126. I checked fuse #17 and it seems good. Does anyone have an idea what the problem is if both windshield washer and headlight wipers are not working?

I think that headlight wipers and windshield washer are both controlled by the black relay in the fuse box.
Does anyone have a manual how to trouble shoot the system?
There might be a chance that this relay goes bad?
Or is something else the culprit?
Is there anyone here who can help?

I checked the 2 washer pumps and both are dead! So I ordered two new ones.
I have no idea why both caN go bad at once?

You mean they go dry and die if they are not used frequently?

I just wanted to report back. I have exchanged the 2 motors and the window washing and headlight wipers work well now. It seems to be right that these parts dry out and get killed if not used frequently. I'll change all parts of the system like hoses, check valve etc. in the near future
