Where is the full line for P/S fluid change (w123)
I am changing the power steering right now on my 300D, and dont know where to stop adding fluid. Do I stop below the plastic spring stop or do I stop at the notch on the inside of the reservoir?

fill to the upper notch of the reservoir.
turn the wheel from stop to stop under no-load condition repeat |

I think it is worthwhile making up a set of slip plates for this job - in my opinion it makes it go a lot smoother.

thanks for the tips, I figured it was the notch though.
The slip plates do look like a good idea too, I like that. |
