Quick quesion w126 300sd interior

I came across something I can't figure out. Either I have not done it before or just don't remember. I need to get the under dash panel off of the passenger side of a 1985 300sd. It seems like the kick panel needs to be removed on this side to lower the under dash panel. I can not remove the kick panel completely for some reason either. Something is holding about a third of the way down on the top. I have the 3 screws and the gray plastic 90 degree screw out of the under dash panel but I can not get it to budge. The drivers side comes out easily. Can someone please give me a few pointers here. This is a mint condition car which looks like its never been touched under the dash so I'm trying to keep it that way.

EDIT:

Solved. The kickpanel had to come out. It was just really tight. There is a screw hidden behind there.
