Wink Philly-Need Tool! 46mm Socket, glow plug reamer!

Hi all
I am looking for a glow plug reamer and 46 mm socket for removing the in-tank Fuel tank strainer on my 1983 240D !

If the owner of said tools is anywhere close by, I'm one hell of a baker in exchange for an inside space to work on my Car.

Thanks All,
Nicole

I have a ratchet set that has that socket, and I used my 7 mm drill bit to do the reaming.
I posted pics and it worked like a champ.
Send me a PM, I live between 76 and 676.

A few years ago harbor freight had this MASSIVE socket set on sale for 39.00 (now its only 49) and there was a 46mm.

I bought it for the same thing you want it for. I use them often for the bigger nuts esp the OIL FILTER..

Im sure you can grab it on sale for 39 if you get on the mailing list.

As far as a reamer... I used a 45 cal pistol brush to ream out my glow plug holes... Used some liquid wrench as well... Then Id get a long piece of old t-shirt and softly push it to get any other gunk off..

I did make sure it was a LONG piece so nothing could fall in...HAHA

Out here they have cheapie tool places. The 1-13/16" socket subs for the 46mm one and it cost me $4.50. You may have similar places in your area that sells them.
