Hazard Switch Removal
How do you remove the hazard switch from a W123, 1977 300D. I had a minor coffee spill and now the switch is buzzing like a hive of bees.
The Haynes manual just says, pry it out. I would appreciate if anyone has any tricks. JCD |

Safest way is to push in the tabs from the bottom and pop it out.
Remove your ashtray Remove the two screws under there Remove the ashtray assembly, unplug the cig. lighter connector Pull back on your console Unhook all the wires and push in the tabs on the switch and pop it out. John |

Correct
Buzzing was gone this AM. Thanks TxBill, that's why you're a moderator and I'm a slave to the advice on this forum.
Turbo, thx for the instructions. Is there anything on these cars you haven't taken apart. See you next weekend JCD |
