EXACT location of resistor
1985 300SD where exactly is the resistor pack located for the HVAC system blower motor?
I searched here and otherwise and found "under the blower cover" I've had the blower out and see nothing up there remotely similar to the replacement resistor. "The black box under the bonnet". Right. Where exactly? And finally "under the brake booster". Again nothing under here looks like the replacement part. Thank you for your time and understanding

On the Gen2 cars there is a solid state voltage regulator in the blower box. Gen1 cars like yours have the resistor pack under the brake booster.
