Mistery green light.

Hey everyone, my Benz is slowly coming together, got new headlights installed today and an ABS module from an 1988 300E, im not sure if this is whats causing the problem but im getting a green light in the supposedly empty slot between the glow-plug and the SRS light. cruise control started working fine but abs still doesn't kick in.

PS its a 1987 300D

here are some pics

Sounds like there's a holder in the wrong place, because there's nothing there on my wagon either. have you had the cluster out? I would verify if they are in the right order, on the back of the cluster, there's a few wires. Each of them should have a number tag on them, the number tag corresponds to the slot on the back of the cluster that they go to.

if the wires are color coded and you need a guide, I need to pull my cluster again and put one holder in the right place, let me know

UPDATE

Pulled out the cluster, and reorganizes the light bulbs, someone has been behind there, everything was numbered and easy to see im not sure how someone can mix that up, turns out that its just an abs light, need to look trough all the sensors and wherever that takes me.

thanks aquaticedge for the pointer

No problem. oh, Check your OVP. I know it usually causes a Dead Tach but it solved my ABS issue as well.

On euro cars that green light would come on when you have just the parking lights on.

All the bulb holders are numbered. I'm betting someone put one in the wrong place. Get yourself a new temp display module and replace it while you have the cluster apart

On my '84 Euro TD, that green light flashes once when I activate the turn-signal, then stays off until the next time I signal.

Happy Motoring, Mark

UPDATE

OVP is functioning properly, tested the ABS sensors , everything is good so far as i can see. I found a missing ABS pressure regulator relay, so far this is the only thing that i believe is messing with the whole system.

Is there a way to jump certain pins in the socket for the ABS pressure regulator to see if everything is working?
I would like to know before i start ordering everything separate and pay half in shipping
